Dead End
A terminal for working through your situation
You describe your situation in ordinary text. The terminal returns a breakdown: what actually happened, what has been thought up about it, and which of it is within your power.
It does not cheer you on, does not praise you and does not advise you to "believe in yourself". People come here for things as they are.
This is a game. Here you steer the main character of your own life.
This is a game
DeadEnd.Pod is built as a game.
It uses the ordinary language of gamers. The user here is the Player, his own situation is the Dungeon, the task he has taken on is the Raid, the obstacle in its way is the Boss, and the processing of a request by the model is a Computation.
The service gamifies everyday situations. The game words stand for ordinary everyday things (in the contract they are replaced by legal terms β see the offer, section 2, in Russian). This way it removes the question "will I manage it" and puts in its place the question "which move am I making now". A move can be made and can be left unmade β both have a price, and the terminal names it rather than deciding for you.
The service is provided for information and entertainment. It does not solve the user's problems, gives no advice, promises no result and replaces nobody's work.
What the service is
DeadEnd.Pod is a software service that works inside the Telegram messenger. The user sends a text description of his situation. The service processes it with language models and returns a structured result.
A breakdown has four parts:
- Objective Reality β what happened, with no assessments and no guesswork.
- The Map β what has been thought up about it: assumptions, fears, expectations.
- Control loops β what is within your power and what is not.
- Vectors β which moves are possible next. The second vector is always "stay": inaction is a move too, and it has a price.
The service is delivered automatically and remotely. Access opens right after payment, in the same bot, with no waiting and with no person involved.
What the service is not
The service is not medical, psychological, psychiatric or psychotherapeutic help, diagnosis, or consultation with a specialist of any kind.
The result is produced by a language model. It may contain errors and is material for your own decision rather than an instruction or a conclusion.
The service does not promise, and cannot promise, that any result will be achieved or that your state or the circumstances of your life will change. It is provided for information and entertainment.
The service is intended for persons over 18.
What else the terminal does
Syncs
A short question at a random moment of the day: what is in the body, in the emotions and in the thoughts right now. The answer is laid out in one form β and the records become comparable with each other.
Raids
Work on one task with an entry and an exit: steps, the obstacle, the estimate, the premortem. A report at the end, and a verdict on the report.
Impulses
The physical module: 18 exercise protocols with levels and calibration. You switch it on and off at any moment.
Target Firmware
Habits tied to an event of the day rather than to an hour: after getting up, before lights out. The reminder arrives where the action happens.
Journal and dynamics
What has been found out about you, with evidence from your own records. The Dynamics compares two windows of two weeks.
Lights out and Wake-up
Between them the terminal stays quiet: no Syncs, no Impulses, no reminders. The silence ends by itself, at the start of your active window.
How to start
- TRIAL-PERIOD. Free and before any payment. Almost the whole terminal is open: breakdowns, raids, two days of Syncs, the physical module. Two things are closed β your own Target Firmware and your own recording of protocols.
- The decision. The service can be evaluated before paying, and payment is made after that evaluation.
- Payment. Access opens automatically, right after the payment arrives.
What is included and what it costs
Briefly about money
One payment, no subscription and no automatic charges. Access is granted for the whole lifetime of the service.
"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the service. Access works while the service works, and ends together with it. Said plainly here and in the contract.
